We started off our morning with walking through the the town and ended up talking to an orthodox Serbian monk who gave us a quick tour of an old church and then shared some of his more liberal views on religion (okay lets be clear, liberal for a monk) !!!
We then had lunch at "Mjum", run by a Caribbean Dutch ex- baseball star who fell in love with a Hungarian lady and decided to start a life here. The food was very "Mjummy", so "Mjummy" that we forgot photos of our food.
Then our group decided to visit a local weaver, known for her intricate weavings of shawls, scarves, rugs, and towels. About anything you wanted to be woven could be woven in the hands of this weaving master. Thanks to our translator Emese we were able to learn all about the difficult art of weaving.
Our last stop in the town was at a chocolate shop where we were able to have a chocolate tasting and learn about the process of making fine chocolates. Hands down everyone's favorite part was eating the chocolate, but learning about it was cool too. Our whole group then decided to buy some of the chocolates because they were so tasty. Maybe if some parents or friends are fortunate they will get some when we all return home.

Then three member of room 753 (Lindsey, Evelyn, and Jessye) went to the famous Szechenyi baths to relax before the big week of math and Hungarian classes to come!! We didn't take any photos because we were too cold and it was dark, but we will include one from the web (hopefully this gives you an idea).
We are having an awesome time in Budapest and can't wait to see more of the city in the upcoming weeks!
