Greetings from Room 453,
After the midterm test this morning, we were all free for the day!
As many of our class went off to Vienna for the weekend, al of our room, as well as a few others, went around Budapest with a special guest, Hans, Tor's cousin!
First, we went to the Central Market Hall to have a second round of Langos and pick up produce for the stir-fry dinner.
After bringing the groceries back to our rooms, we took a walk to Buda and up a hill to the Liberty Statue. The hike up the hill had several scenic views of the Danube River and Pest where we could see many of the buildings we had visited in the past 2 weeks.
On the trip down the other side of the hill, there were a couple very nice playgrounds. There were some cool pieces of playground equipment we had not seen in U.S parks before.
We also found an invisible bench, or just a bench missing its seat.
Then, after going back to our rooms and relaxing for a couple of hours, we prepared a stir-fry, eating healthy while saving money.
