WOHOOOOO it's Friday, so that means we had a presentation this morning on the culture of Hungary and then we had our last math class before the weekend. Miklós was our presenter, who was once a scholar at the University of Chicago. We learned about the inventions, culture, accomplishments, and political climate of Hungary.
(Here is a picture of Miklós and Professor Hanson before the presentation)
Then Lindsey, Jessye, Evelyn, and our friend Henry went to one of our favorite spots around the university, The Goat Herder, to grab some food and drinks before math class. Room 753's classic drink orders are a cortado for Lindsey, double espresso for Evelyn, hot tea for Jessye, and an Americano for Annabelle.
Everyday after class we have been going to different coffee shops around the city. Our favorite is Madal, but it was too busy to go there today. We had to settle on another great coffee shop.
Here are some photos of our walk around Budapest.
Yes, we do get to see buildings like this every day.
We are ending our night by going to get some yummy Thai food and Annabelle is going off to the last Professor Dinner.
One love,
Room 753 (Lindsey, Jessye, Evelyn, and Annabelle)
